Coronavirus Update - RADical Systems Support
6th April Update
The spread of Coronavirus continues to affect everybody's home and business lives and those of our colleagues, friends and family. At RADical Systems we have always considered the welfare of our staff to be of fundamental importance and we had staff members working from home, where they had a need to self-isolate in order to protect themselves or others, early on in the outbreak.
Following further restrictions implemented by the UK Government, we have now fully activated our Coronavirus Protocols and, as a result, have closed our RADical offices in the UK.
However, this does not mean RADical Systems is closed for business!
All staff are now remote working, accessing the company by utilising the various systems we put in place in preparation for this shut down. This means that, for the most part, it is business as usual at RADical Systems!
For those needing support, making enquiries, or just keen for a chat, there is no change to the communication methods available to you. Our telephones will still be answered, emails responded to and support requests fulfilled. Our normal method of making a remote connection to support our users is still working well, even though there has been a considerable increase in the general demand for bandwidth as a result of so many 'going on-line'.
That said, we have entered some uncharted waters and so I would ask you to please be patient if it takes a little longer to answer your calls or queries or transfer you to the correct person. Please do try to be kind to our staff where frustrations might develop; we are all trying to do the best we can, in a very difficult situation, to get you the help you need, the report you asked for or the answer to the query you asked, as soon as we can.
As time passes we will be able to adjust our systems to continue to improve our support service; so do please let us know which elements work well and any not so well.
In the meantime we at RADical Systems wish you all health and happiness and our hearts go out to all those who have been affected by the virus in any way or who know someone who has.
With all best wishes

11th March Update
Dear Customer,
As you are no doubt aware, the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout the world, has raised questions about business continuity.
We at RADical Systems (UK) Ltd are aware you rely on our services and support to help keep your business running smoothly, so we are taking any potential disruption very seriously.
To that end we are putting in place protocols to help us manage any change in the Coronavirus advice we are receiving. Therefore we would like to take this opportunity to assure you that we are closely monitoring our Government, Health Service and World Health Organisation's advice on how we, as a business, should deal with the virus and will do whatever we can to reduce its impact.
For the time being we are carrying on business as usual but, in the event the advice changes and it becomes necessary, we intend to ensure that all our staff have the ability to work from home, and are working to set up systems to facilitate this.
To achieve this we have purchased additional equipment to ensure all members of staff have access to a computer, should they need to work from home and are setting up this infrastructure to allow our Support Staff to connect to our systems remotely. We are planning on keeping our phone system manned and calls will be redirected to staff working from home. Should it be necessary to enact our Coronavirus protocols, with these measures in place, we expect it to be business as usual.
However, in this event, we would be grateful for your additional patience should our response be slightly slower than usual, as calls will need to be diverting to mobile phones and not all Staff live in areas with high-speed internet.
Regards,
Alasdair Lindsay
